Alyssa Cudney
Alyssa Cudney is a 2008 graduate of Missouri State University where she received a degree in instrumental music education. She was active in Collegiate Music Educators (CMENC), serving as the Missouri State University chapter president as well as the state president for Missouri CMENC. A trumpet player, Alyssa played in the University Wind Ensemble, Jazz Band, Dues Band, and the Pride Marching Band. With the Pride, Alyssa has marched in the London New Year’s Day Parade and the Tournament of Roses Parade. She was also a member of the 2005 Honor Band of America in the Rose Parade. Alyssa still plays in the area as a member of the St. Louis Brass Band, the Belleville Philharmonic, and the Tom Hanson Big Band.
Alyssa has taught at the elementary, middle, and high school levels in Springfield, MO, St. Louis, MO, and Belleville, IL, most recently at Wolf Branch School where she taught beginning band, as well as middle school concert and jazz bands. At Alton High School she teaches Music Technology, Symphonic Band and Wind Symphony, and the Marching 100.
