Tryouts for Boy's and Girl's Track starts Wednesday, March 10th from 3:00PM - 4:45PM.

*Anyone trying out must have a current physical, notarized medical   consent form, and an activity waiver on file in the athletic office. Take care of this paperwork now so you do not miss out on the tryouts.

COACH OF THE YEAR.

CELEBRATE GOOD TIMES - THE JUNIOR REDBIRDS EARNED 3rd PLACE AT STATE !!!!!!

Two weeks ago, 100 teams began competing to win an opportunity to play at the State Tournament.  After winning the Sectional Championship last Wednesday, our Junior Redbirds were one of eight teams left in the tournament.

On Saturday, February 13th, the AMS 8th grade Boy's Basketball Team defeated Frankfort Summit Hill 50 - 36 in the 1:00PM Game, but fell short in the 6:00PM Game to Normal Kingsley 37 - 40 in a hard fought battle. 

On Thursday, February 18th, at 6:00PM (Morton High School), our Junior Redbirds captured 3rd Place, in the State, by defeating Sauk Village Rickover 68 - 31.

Congratulations to the players and coaches for a job well done!

The Alton Middle School Boy's Basketball Teams received

the #1 seed in both the 7th and 8th grade regionals in Hillsboro.  

Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!

The Alton Middle School 7th grade Boy's Basketball Team defeated Hillsboro and Roxana to claim the Regional Championship, but fell a little short against East St. Louis - Lincoln in the Sectional Championship Game.
