Universal Reinforcer: paw print, given to students caught exhibiting specific appropriate behavior. For example: Walking quietly in the hall

Students earn Good Behavior Recess each Friday afternoon for 15 minutes if they had no Office Discipline Referrals for the week (intermediate) or remained on “Green” for the card system in their classroom (primary).

Classrooms earn rewards for collecting increments of 50 paw prints over time. Students sometimes help choose the reward or celebration they will have along with the teacher.

Students having 0 – 1 Office Discipline Referral for the quarter attend the Quarterly Good Behavior Celebration which lasts an hour. The celebration sometimes includes having a DJ, playing Bingo, snacks and outside recess.
